Bas Cornelissen

Bas Cornelissen is a Principal Expert Government and Public at SIG. He is passionate about improving the quality of today’s digital government, ranging from single sign-on facilities for citizens to automated border crossing systems.

Bas has a background in computer science and has been with SIG for ten years. His primary expertise stems from the translation of technical insights into layman’s terms: benefits, risk, and cost. Apart from daily line management, he specializes in high-visibility engagements and management reports on the parliamentary level. He actively contributes to the public debate, e.g. by developing instruments that enable a more effective and more efficient administration.
