Eddy Boorsma established and leads the Transactions Services practice at Software Improvement Group, where he supports investors, both strategic buyers and private equity, with buy- and sell-side IT due diligence.
Supporting 40 deals per year on average, Eddy has seen the market and its players become increasingly international. He has also observed a growing focus on IT/ software in due diligence, as it can present either a significant upside or downside for a company’s future growth. His experience has led to the further development of the SIG IT due diligence proposition, creating added value for investors in cooperation with other advisors in Legal, Commercial and Financial due diligence streams.
Eddy serves as President of ACG Holland (Association for Corporate Growth), an M&A community with a growing member base. In this role, focuses on providing ACG members with opportunities to connect as well as valuable content via the organization’s networking events.
Eddy holds a master’s degree in management and organization from the University of Groningen.
