Michiel Meijer

Michiel Meijer is the commercial manager of the Financial Services vertical at Software Improvement Group, where he is responsible for the management of business as well as client accounts. Michiel joined SIG in 2016 and has since helped the company build strong relationships with major banks, insurance firms and pension funds, serving as a trusted technical advisor on complex IT-related issues.

Michiel brings to his role 20+ years of experience serving the European Financial Services sector from an ICT perspective. He also holds valuable experience selling and working in large, complex (outsourced) ICT environments.

Michiel holds a master’s degree in management and organization from the University of Groningen. Throughout his career, he has enriched his education with coursework at Insead Business School, Boston University/MIT and London Business School.
